JerseyMate is an independent AI assistant for exploring public information about Jersey, Channel Islands. It draws on a reviewed library, links back to its sources and tells you when it cannot find a match.

You can ask questions and receive replies in English, French, Portuguese or Spanish. The JerseyMate interface and this page are in English; the four languages describe the conversation, not translated page addresses.
JerseyMate answers from reviewed topic records. Those records keep links to their underlying sources and a review date, so you can follow the evidence and decide what to check for yourself. The examples below are saved source records—not a claim that these pages were checked today.
Dates are records, not live verification. They show when a source was recorded as reviewed in JerseyMate’s saved library. Chat does not browse the live web, and a stored date does not mean the source has been checked again in this release.
When AI assistance is enabled, OpenAI composes a reply using your question, relevant conversation context and reviewed excerpts from the saved library. The library is the grounding material; the chat does not perform live web lookup.
The question is considered against the reviewed topic library.

No matching reviewed information means JerseyMate abstains rather than inventing a response.
New chat records expire after 30 days. Older records without an expiry date remain subject to retention review. Using Clear removes the conversation from your current browser view; it does not delete server-side records.
When AI assistance is enabled, OpenAI receives the question, relevant conversation context and reviewed excerpts to compose an answer. Requests use store:false; that setting does not guarantee zero retention by the provider. Please leave personal or sensitive information out of questions.
Optional voice features involve separate processing by ElevenLabs. Their details are set out in the Privacy Policy; voice is your choice.
With the advertiser’s required consent and approval, eligible Jersey-related businesses may appear in clearly labelled sponsor cards. A card is separate from the assistant’s answer: sponsorship pays for advertising, not promotion inside the answer or a recommendation. Enquiries do not guarantee approval or placement.
